Susan has a Masters in Counseling Psychology with an advanced certification in Mental Health Counseling (CAGS). For the past 20 years, she has worked with older adults through her work in community mental health, caregiver support, and as a program director in assisted living. She has provided individual and family therapy for older adults living with chronic mental illness. Additionally, Susan has educated and guided older adults and their families about how, when, and where they can receive long-term services and supports in the community. She is a certified SHINE Counselor, supporting people with Medicare and MassHealth needs. She is a member of both the national and New England chapters of the Aging Life Care Association.
