Aidan Schmidtberger, LICSW

Aidan is a licensed clinical social worker with over eight years of experience working with older adults and families. His interest in this work began in adult community mental health, where he saw firsthand how multifaceted the needs of older adults can be. Since then, he has worked in both community and primary care settings, providing mental health counseling, treatment, and safety planning.

Honest, compassionate, and approachable, Aidan believes strongly in respecting each client’s self-determination. Rather than telling clients what to do, he works in partnership with them to identify and achieve goals that are meaningful to them. His sense of humor and ability to connect with people help build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients and families.

Outside of work, Aidan enjoys playing sports, reading The New Yorker, and taking dogs for walks.
