Aging Life Care Manager®, Your Elder Experts
Gail’s connection to working with older adults began in college, when she lived with and cared for her grandmother, who was living with dementia. One of the most important people in Gail’s life, her grandmother taught her lessons about dementia and caregiving that have stayed with her throughout her career. Since then, Gail has dedicated her professional life to older adults, serving as a case manager, supervisor, Elder-at-Risk worker, VNA social worker, and owner of her own aging life care management practice.
Patient, persistent, and a strong advocate, Gail has a particular affinity for complex situations with multiple needs. She is skilled at organizing and prioritizing competing concerns to give clients and families a clearer path forward and is known for not giving up when a situation is especially challenging. She takes great satisfaction in helping clients continue doing things that are meaningful to them, even when those experiences may initially seem out of reach.
Gail has served on the Ethics Committee for Minuteman Senior Services, is a nationally certified care manager (CCM), and is a member of both the national and New England chapters of the Aging Life Care Association.
Outside of work, Gail loves swimming and dancing and enjoys bringing movement into her work when appropriate. She has three children and one grandson and, in her words, “speaks fluent cat.”
